Airport seeking feedback on air service
Grande Prairie, Alta – To understand the changing market conditions and needs of the traveling public in the region, Grande Prairie Airport has launched an air service survey.
While the decision to add or change routes, aircraft and scheduling rests with air carriers, Grande Prairie Airport is continually monitoring the public’s needs and the service available to meet those needs. When changes arise and needs aren’t met, the airport builds a business case to advocate for improved service for local travelers.
“We have a good understanding of the region’s travel demands, but with the economy picking up again, we want to ensure we’re current on any shifts in demand,” commented Brian Grant, Grande Prairie Airport CEO. “The survey only takes about 5 minutes and will allow us to take a quick pulse of our region’s travel needs.”
The changing economic situation and recent flight schedule adjustments has prompted this reanalysis of the region’s travel needs which will build on current understanding. It will also allow the airport to identify opportunities and continue to best represent and serve the region.
All residents and businesses in the Peace Country are encouraged to complete the survey. The more responses received, the more reliable the data will be. If you would like to help with this initiative, please complete the 5 minute survey and share it within your network.
