Air Carrier Schedule Changes

Air Canada has announced that effective June 01, 2020 its service will increase to Calgary from 1 flight three days a week to 1 flight seven days a week. The aircraft will be upgraded from the Dash 8-100 to a Q400. The flight will also move to a new time slot arriving from Calgary at 12:12pm and departing at 12:50pm. The air carrier also indicates plans to begin service to Edmonton in early July.

WestJet’s June schedule appears unchanged at 1 flight four days per week to Calgary Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday.

In the past week the number of travelers has shown an increase. In an effort to ensure appropriate social distancing remains achievable as passenger numbers increase, access into the Air Terminal Building will be restricted to passengers and staff only commencing Wednesday May13, 2020. This restriction does not affect curb drop off or curbside parking. Passengers can still be met outside in front of the Air Terminal.

The Air Terminal Building will remain accessible to passengers on Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday from 2:30pm to 6:00pm until May 31 and will change to 10:30am to 6:00pm on June 01 to accommodate the new schedule.
